Today whare are Kaikeyi and Gandhari?

If we look at Ramayana amd Mahabharatha, then compare with today's situations, we can understand a lot of things.

For example Ramayana would not have happened, without Kaikeyi. Country of Kaikeyi is Kekaya, which is in today's Pakisthan. Today also they create problems for others.

Same way, Mahabharatha would not have happened without Gandhari. Country of Gandhari is Gandhara

Today's Kandahar, in Afganisthan. We know what is happening there.

The females behave the same way like Gandhari now. Thinking that they are highly committed, create problems for others. She was ready to harm herself to any extent. Same way now also.

How Hindi language was born?

In India now Hindi is the major speaking language. We need to know how it was born.

Only sanskrit was the spoken language in India till 1500 years back. When Moguls attacked, slowly Indians had to adopt the Urdu language.

But they tried to retain the language with the lipi. So a mixture of both the languages is Hindi language.

The grammar is completely Urdu grammar. Letters are Sanskrit letters.
Vocabulary is from both the languages.

For example -
Hill - Pahad (urdu) - Parvath (sanskrit) - both are available in Hindi.

Inner meaning of Thrimoorthi

1. Maha Vishnu
He is the God of maintainer. His color is blue
This could be the representation of ocean which is in blue color. Evolution started from ocean and everything will end with ocean. With water only the life in the earth is being sustained.

In tamil the Goddess Lakshmi is called alaimagal. (alai means waves)

2. Brahma
He is the God of creator. He sits in the lotus (flower)
This could be the representation of cycle of creation. Because with flowers only everything is being born in the world.

In Tamil the Goddess saraswathi is called kalaimagal (kalai means art). The creation is beautiful and artistic.

Even the female who attains puberty is called Puppeidhinaal in Tamil, means she has attained the stage of a flower.

3. Shiva
He is the God of transformer. He sits in hills.
This could be the representation of hills. Because the water from the clouds are transformed through hills only. Transformation of Cloud to water or water from snow etc happen in the hills only.

In tamil the Goddess Parvathi is called malaimagal (malai means hills)

So the water has been given a lot of importance in Hindu mythology.

Why marriage is important

1. To fulfil the physica desires or kaama within the boundaries of dharma defined which can make one peaceful, happy and stabel

2. To fulfil the pithruruna (to continue the lineage of ancestors) by getting a child.

3. Taking of other 3 aashrama people in the society. (Brahmacharya-unmarried including the children, Vanaprastha - old aged and sanyasa - unmarried priests and saints)

4. To take care of the members of both the families.

5. To see the God in each other to get into the next stage of elevation.

6. To avoid bad thoughts seeing others of opposite sex (with the commitment)

Elements - Gunas - Activites and Impact

Earth is heavy and has smell
Water is cool and has taste
Fire is hot and it shows (helps to see)
Air is formless and it feels (makes us to feel the touch)
Space is permanent and it hears (helps to hear)

So the senses are satisfied with sound, touch, see, taste and smell outwardly through sex.
But their permanent, formlessness, heat, cool and heaviness help us to be satisfied inwardly through pranayama and meditation. This only can take us to mukthi.

Thamasic activities which take us down are -
Earth - Meat eating
Water - Alcohol
Fire - Watching prono movies
Air - High sexual activities
Space - High beat music

Rajasic activities which keep us in danger zone are -
Earth - Spicy eating
Water - Beverages (aerated)

Air - mild sexual activities
Space - hearing film music

Sathvic activities which can take us up are -
Earth - Eating fresh vegetarian food
Water - Drink lot of water and juices

Deeper sathvic activities -

These will take us towards peaceful samadhi state. Jaigurudev!

Why learning sanskrit is important

Sanskrit has all the knowledge -
1. Vedas
2. Puraanas
3. Ithihaasas
4. Upanishads
5. Brahma sutra
6. All Dharshanas
7. Bhagavad Gita
8. Sthotras
9. Subhashithams etc

Also its grammar is so complete that learning any other language in the world will be easy.
Sanskrit has the power to cure diseases

Among the Dharma, Artha, Kaama and Moksha, you can find a lot of materials in other languages including Tamil for the first three. But for moksha you need to know sanskrit, because of the above resources.

Even though there are translated documents available, there is no guarantee that they are correct.

My experience
I did my MA project in skanda purana. While doing it, I understood that
1. Tamil skanda purana is different from the sanskrit one.
2. Tamil focuses on surasamharam only but sanskrit focuses on all shivalayas
3. There is no proper English translation available in the world

So learning with the original is better. The language of values is sanskrit.
