Pralaya means rising and setting.
Coming out and going in.
Going up and coming down.
Going up and coming down.
Daily Pralaya
In a day
- Sun rises - reaches its peak (6 hours)
- Slowly comes down and sets (6 hours)
- Night starts - reaches its peak (6 hours)
- Slowly comes back to day (6 hours)
Monthly Pralaya
In a month,
- Moon grows reaches its peak (15 days)
- Slowly sets (15 days)
Yearly Pralaya
In a year, (Deva's day),
- Shukla paksha (growing phase 6 months)
- Krishna paksha (closing down 6 months)
In bigger terms the 60 years cycle repeats and 6 such years make 1 year of Devas.
1 year of Deva = 360 human years
1 year of Deva = 360 human years

In much bigger terms, the entire universe which is expanding will shrink and become nothing. Again will start from the beginning.
If we look at history, some kingdom rose up reached its peak and slowly vanished.
If we look for the timeline, it will match with one of these cycles.
For e.g. British rule in India was around 350 years
Mughals Rule in India was for nearly 350 years.
Guptas period was around 390 years.
Like this in our day to day life, if we look, ups and downs are happening.
The years of these cycles might match with the cycles mentioned above.
If we go up, need to be prepared to come down.
Today, we are taught only to go up, but coming down is unavoidable and natural.
If you have gone down, don't worry, you can come up.
Let us learn to face it and teach our kids this law of life.
Life is flowing continuously, every second, minute and day is unique.
The day does not get repeated. But a new day starts.
JaiGurudev!
